Festive events that celebrate the 500th anniversary of book printing in Belarus continue. Reading Skorina Together is the name of a special event that is taking place at the National Library of Belarus.

Roman Motulsky, the Director of the National Library of Belarus: "We want people to read Skorina and to know his heritage. Francisk Skorina was a philosopher and an educator. He is the pride of our nation. He printed books and expressed his thoughts in the prefaces, commentaries, and afterwords. He always addressed the youth, because he wanted everyone to understand the Holy Scripture."

At the National Library, visitors can look through a facsimile multivolume edition titled "The Book Heritage of Francisk Skorina". Visitors will not need a reader’s card to take part in the event. The entrance is free.
