TV Channel Belarus 3 is launching a documentary cycle called Modern Art of Belarus. The documentaries were made by Oleg Lukashevich and Alexander Alexeev. The authors intended to make a portrait of sorts for every modern artist. Among the heroes of the project are laureates of the special awards of the President of Belarus.
The documentary has no voice-over – it is entirely about the artist himself – the person there and the artist’s philosophy and worldview.
In total, the art project has 10 episodes. The first episode tells the story of the landscape artist Valery Shkarubo.
