In the permanent exhibition there are 19 new exhibits at once. These are rare coins of the 14th century. Valuable artifacts, namely coins with the order of the GDL, have replenished the collection of the Historical Museum due to crowdfunding. This is a fairly popular practice in which funds for project financing, in this case the museum initiative, are accepted from all comers.
Some of these ancient coins were revealed through the discovery of a treasure in Molodechno district. Several coins were presented by private collectors.
Today, these coins of the GKL era are not just the dream of any coin collector. For historians, it is an opportunity to recreate the appearance of grand dukes.
