Ola Melzig, the Technical Director of the Eurovision Song Contest, came to Minsk and assessed the potential of Belteleradiocompany – the Junior Eurovision’s organizer this year. The Eurovision expert fr om Sweden advised Belteleradiocompany about the organization of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Belarus in November.
Ola Melzig visited Minsk-Arena, where the show will be held. He evaluated the possibilities of the sports and entertainment venue and gave advice on logistics – for example, wh ere it is better to place the green-room. The technical director also saw the draft design of the stage for the Eurovision. Next, Ola Melzig visited the shooting of one of the most high-tech projects of Belteleradiocompany – the intellectual quiz show I Know!.
The Swedish expert noted he liked the LED screens and the lighting at the venue. Ola Melzig also pointed out that the draft design of the stage is incredibly beautiful and from the technical point of view it meets all the requirements of the Eurovision team, so there should be a wonderful TV picture.
Minsk will host the song contest on 25 November. The organization of the Junior Eurovision, as well as the television broadcast of the show, is entrusted to the main media holding of the country – Belteleradiocompany, the only representative of the European Broadcasting Union in Belarus.
