By Yuliya Losikova: The People's Artist of the USSR and Belarus Stefania Stanyuta would have turned 110 years old.
One of the first actresses of the troupe "First Belarusian Association of Comedy and Drama," she spent the whole life on the stage of Kupala Theater.
Some costumes the actress sewed herself. She was the first actress in the history of Kupala Theater to receive Crystal Pavlinka.
Stanyuta performed her first part at the age of 16 in the play "Hanka". For a long theatrical life, she created a large gallery of female images. However, the glory broadly overtook her later, when it started getting roles of adult women and grandmothers.
She participated in the productions of native Kupala Theatre until she was 92 years old.
Stefania Stanyuta was immortalized in art and documentary books of her son.
