More than 200 dancers from all over the world came to the capital to enjoy the atmosphere of sensual dance. The II International Marathon of Argentinean Tango in Minsk 2016 will finish on September 11. In the meantime, Belarusians, Russians, Portuguese, Canadians, Argentines, Italians, Norwegians, and many others spend days and nights dancing milongas. Argentine tango buffs take part in various festivals, and this phenomenon has acquired the name of tango tourism.
Some arrived in Minsk with their partners, some came alone, hoping to meet new people.

There are fans on the table, as even air conditioners are not able to cool the ardor of the participants of the marathon.
The Argentine tango dancers do not use traditional invitation to dance. Instead of outstretched arms partners use kabeseo or inviting look.

The niight milonga lasts until 6 am. Then a short break to sleep and again the dancers are floating around the room. The tango marathon is a closed event,
History and a large number of fans helped the Argentine tango to be included in UNESCO list of intangible cultural values. In Minsk, the dance is taught in more than 10 schools. Minsk annually hosts the International Spring Tango Festival,
