By Marina Romanovskaya: Opened on 26 December 1926, Polotsk’s Local History Museum is celebrating its 90th anniversary with a new exhibition dedicated to the city’s honorary residents. The red brick building where the museum is located is the only Gothic Revival architecture monument on the territory of the Polotsk district.
The museum is home to about 2,000 exhibits, many of which were found during archeological expeditions.
