Belteleradiocompany Symphonic Orchestra conquers Japanese audience

During the week-long tour, the Orchestra visited several Japanese cities. The aim of the trip was to join the peacekeeping activities of public and religious organizations in Japan that are calling for peace and unity remembering the tragic legacy of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

By Natalia Bordilovskaya: The Belteleradiocompany's Orchestra was invited to Japan not by coincidence. The counties are united by the experience of overcoming the consequences of human-made disasters. The Belarusian-Japanese meeting resulted in a new creative idea. Belteleradiocompany's and Hiroshima symphonic orchestras and choirs decided to found a project dedicated to 79th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. In August 2015, they will jointly perform Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.
Among the outcomes of the meeting is an e-mail of the famous Japanese conductor Ikuo Yamamoto to Belteleradiocomany. After the meeting with the Belarusians he expressed his desire to collaborate with our orchestra as a guest conductor.
