Today, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 opens in Tbilisi. The representative of Belarus – Helena Meraai – will walk on the red carpet at the sight of dozens of TV cameras. The ceremony will be held at the Parliamentary Library of Georgia. This evening, a draw for representatives of 16 countries is scheduled to take place. This week will see lots of rehearsals, interviews, consultations on makeup, and filming promo videos.
The Grand Final of the Junior Eurovision will be held on Sunday, 26 November. The show will be broadcast live by TV Channel Belarus 1 and the satellite channel Belarus 24.
