Results of International Pop Song Performers Contest to be announced today at Slavic Bazaar

The last scores for participants of Slavic Bazaar’s International Pop Song Performers Contest were announced around midnight at the Summer Amphitheatre in Vitebsk. Belarusian Alexei Gross took the stage as preliminary leader. The singer received the maximum 80 points from each member of the jury on the first contest day. On the second day, his cover of Bon Jovi’s It’s My Life scored 77 points. The Belarusian is currently at number one with a total of 157 points, followed by Adam from Kazakhstan and singers from Italy and Moldova.

The jury will hold a closed meeting to announce the final results at tonight’s closing ceremony of the 25th International Art Festival Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk.

The children's music competition will finish today with a gala concert and an award ceremony to take place at the Vitebsk Concert Hall at 17:00.

The Summer Amphitheatre will host a sold-out concert by Turetsky Choir, dedicated to the ensemble’s 25th anniversary. The Slavic Bazaar closing ceremony will begin at 22:00.
