Today is the last day when it is possible to send an entry to the national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Vocalists aged 9 to 14 are invited to participate. A song can be in Belarusian or Russian. Even a foreign language can be used if it is under 40% of the lyrics. The song cannot be commercially available. The entries are to be sent to the postal address: Minsk, Makaenka, 9.
The date of auditions of the applicants is already known. A panel of judges will evaluate the songs live on 6 July at noon at Belteleradiocompany. Based on the results of the auditions, the jury will choose seven to ten finalists of the project. The final show will be held in the format of a gala concert no later than 15 September.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 will be hosted by Belarus. The 16th international song contest will be held on 25 November at Minsk Arena. Its organizer is Belteleradiocompany – the only representative of the European Broadcasting Union in Belarus.
