Today marks Belarusian Cinema Day celebrated by directors, actors, cameramen, script writers, lighting technicians, make-up artists and Belarusian cinema lovers. Throughout the day, the TV channel Belarus 3 will be broadcasting about 20 Belarusian cinema masterpieces, including a documentary on the founder of Belarusian cinema – director Vladimir Korsh-Sablin, as well as the drama August 1944, the comedy Our Neighbours and more. The culture channel will also be playing scores from Belarusian movies. The thematic screening will finish with a modern Belarusian melodrama.
