Days of Belarusian Written Language unveiled in Polotsk

Among the hundreds of events there are exhibitions, round tables, presentations, conferences, concerts, literary readings. The days of Belarusian Written Language coincided with the anniversary of the city.

Polotsk officially appeared in 1155, but, according to recent studies, the city is much older. The Museum of the Belarusian printing hosted an international round table. It was attended by both domestic and foreign writers. It is symbolic that Polotsk is the Motherland of East Slavic first printer, and this year our country celebrates the 500th anniversary since the publication of the Skaryna.Bible
