Spain's first violin to play today at Yuri Bashmet Festival

Leticia Moreno is a winner of the Royal Philharmonic Society Prize and a member of London Philharmonic. The violinist has repeatedly performed on stages in Vienna, St. Petersburg, Palermo and Frankfurt. 

Leticia Moreno will perform "The Seasons of the Year" by Piazzolla on a 1762 violin.

Today Moreno will be performing "The Seasons of the Year" on a 1762 rarity instrument. The violin was made by a pupil of Stradivari, master Nicolo Gagliano. It's valued at hundreds of thousands of dollars.
