15 ноября 2017

New Testament translated into the Belarusian language was presented today at the National Library of Belarus. Representatives of other faiths also came to congratulate the representatives of the Orthodox Church. For more than 25 years theologians and philologists, who are members of the Bible Commission, have been translating the Holy Scripture from the original language - the Greek. The experts analyzed and took into account earlier editions, as well as translations of other countries. The release of the new book was prepared by the Belarusian Orthodox Church to the 500th anniversary of the publication of the first book of the Bible by Francis Skaryna. Today, the members of the Bible Commission were also rewarded.
