About 50 candidates have applied for the contest. Even two Russain kids have sent their applications. Foreign citizens can represent Belarus at the contest in case they permanently live in our country.

After listening 46 phonograms the jury invited 14 participants for the auditions. The jury is composed of professionals, composers, vocalists, teachers and actors.

10 performers got into the final. These are the children from Minsk, Mogilev, Brest, Slonim and other towns.
