By Daria Tarasova: The Vankovich Museum is hosting the Editions d’Art exhibition. Illustrations to four literary works included in the exhibition were created by the publishing house Editions d’Art founded in 1895.
The exhibition also features a series of works for the popular book Story of Brisquet's Dog by Charles Nodier. It was published in 1900 for an international exhibition in Paris.
Most of the wood engravings on display in the Vankovich Museum are from the National Art Museum’s collection, some purchased from private individuals.
