Slavianski Bazaar has officially hoisted the main flag of the festival. It became a unifying center in the rank of the member countries of the forum. In total there are 41 participating countries this year. Guests from China arrived for the first time. The festival started today with a procession of drummers. The participants of the march will compete at the international festival. 15 brass bands from the Vitebsk region and Russia are announced in the competition.
The name of Rosa Rymbaeva appeared on the alley of stars of the festival. People's Artist of the Soviet Union is known for her lyrical soprano. She is called the singing Nightingale of Central Asia.
At the moment the draw for the semi-final of the International Pop Song Performers Contest Vitebsk - 2018 is coming to an end on the Square of Stars. Belarus will be represented by Evgeny Kurchich.
