The famous decorator of the Berlin Opera, Joseph Lyubich was exhibited in the art galleries of Paris, Brussels, and London. The collection of the Museum received his a classic still-life with a jug that has the initials of the painter. It was given by the Embassy of Belarus in Switzerland. The picture was purchased at a private auction in Israel. The cost of the canvas is not disclosed.

Atanasios Akratos, the Honorary Consul of Belarus in Zurich, Switzerland: "I was interested in the work of Lubich specifically. I am quite familiar with the work of this wonderful painter. His works are very popular at auctions. The most important thing is that this still-life is now owned by the Museum."

This is not the first return of a painting by Lyubich to Belarus. The collections of the National Art Museum have the painting A Spanish Girl with a Guitar. It was donated by the daughter of a famous artist, together with the sketch A Small Bouquet of Flowers.
