Yanka Kupala Museum turns 70

The museum was officially established even before Minsk was liberated from German invaders. Today the museum contains 40,000 exhibits collected from all over the world. The museum was built on the place of Kupala's personal house, which burnt in the beginning of the war. The legacy is presented in 8 exhibition halls, where one can see his personal things, learn the history of his noble family. The secret of the death of the national poet of Belarus is still unknown.
