The international exhibition Apple Taste opened today at the Palace of Arts. The apple has long been used in art – since biblical times – as a symbol of vitality. The exhibition is also dedicated to the Orthodox holiday of the Savior of the Apple Feast Day celebrated in mid-August. Artists from Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Italy, and Azerbaijan will take part in the project.
Next year, the organizers are planning to turn the art project into an international apple festival.
