International Arts Festival Slavic Bazaar to be held from July 14 to 18

Today the program of the 25th Arts Festival Slavic Bazaar was announced. Thus, the international forum will be held from July, 14 to 18. Vitebsk will gather representatives from 40 countries. For the first time the festival will welcome participants from China, Colombia and Argentina.

All the events of the Slavic Bazaar this year will be joined by three important dates - the anniversary of the festival, the Year Culture and the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. In total, the program includes about a hundred events, namely, concerts, theater meetings, night shows, art presentations, city of masters.

By tradition, the main events of the Slavic Bazaar are the children’s contest and the contest of young performers with participants from 28 countries. Chairman of the jury of children's competition is artistic director and chief conductor of the Presidential Orchestra of Belarus Viktor Babarikin. Young performers will be assessed by the jury headed by People's Artist of Russia Valery Leontyev.
