Less than a month left before annual Slavic Bazaar Festival in Vitebsk

16 июня 2015

Details of the forthcoming Slavic Bazaar, which will take place on 9-13 July, have been discussed today at the National Press Centre. This year's Festival will be attended by 39 countries. For the first time the event will officially feature street art. Vitebsk Republican Theatre will host experimental productions by leading Belarusian and foreign theatre companies.

The main programme will include about 100 events. More than 60% of the tickets have already been sold out.

Adult singer competition rules have been toughened. The participants will have to go through semi-finals, which will result in only 15 of them continuing to fight for the Grand Prix. Besides, the ceremony of awarding the adult and children's competition winners will be combined with the closing ceremony.

Traditionally, the Slavic Bazaar will be broadcast live from Vitebsk by the Belarus 1 and Belarus 24 TV channels.
