On the first day of the final, the participants will perform accompanied by the National Concert Orchestra, conducted by Mikhail Finberg. Now the national selections for the prestigious music competition are held in many countries.
Gleb Lapitsky, Director of the International Art Festival “Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk”: “The selection will be held for the first time in Great Britain as well as in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. For the first time the European selection will be held in Riga on March 16, in which not only the Baltic countries, but also Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and Norway will take part.”
