10 special presidential awards to culture and art workers have been awarded as of 2016, including to Belteleradiocompany’s team for the series We Did It Together. According to Head of Belarus 1 Directorate Elena Ladutko, the image-building project is dedicated to Belarus’ historical and contemporary sites, the country’s tourism opportunities and everything Belarusians can be proud of.
Over the 20 years since the awards were introduced, they have been presented to hundreds of talented and committed people who do a lot for promoting the national heritage outside Belarus. A number of collectives representing that sphere have received the awards as part of the Culture Year for promoting and spreading Belarusian traditions, culture and art and educating the younger generation.
