Several dozen silver coins from the time of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth were discovered during excavations in the nineties of the previous century. Now the coins are reposited in the museum of the historical faculty of BSU. More than a hundred valuable findings are presented at the exposition devoted to the anniversary of the Belarusian capital. Some of the artifacts date back to the 11th century.
Modern reconstructions are presented among the exhibits, for example, winter costumes of the warriors of the Middle Ages and a model of a castle, created by the employees of BSU. The exhibition will be opened tomorrow.
