Names of best writers of Union State announced in Minsk

The ten best young writers of the Union State were named the day before in Minsk. The Union State project took place in three stages and included seven dozen stories and essays from forty regions of Belarus and Russia. Anyone aged 18- 30 could send an essay. The best works were chosen by experts from the academies of sciences of the two countries, as well as journalists and writers. 

The  award ceremony presented a literary almanac with the works of the laureates, as well as a book about the life and work of artist Vitold Bialynitsky-Biruli. This is a joint project of the publishing house "Belarusian Encyclopedia named after Petrus Brovka" and the Union State. The publication contains more than one hundred masterpieces of the master, his biography, quotes and photos from museums in Mogilev and the Chaika house  in Tver Region of Russia. By the way, the author of the book is Vladimir Prokoptsov, director of the National Art Museum.
