Tapestry of the century exhibited in Belarus

Inna Pilevich: The masterpiece of 300 kg of natural wool, its height equal to the height of a 6-storied house, was created by artist Alexander Kishchenko and will be exhibited in Minsk.


The police is going to accompany the transportation of the tapestry to Minsk. It is protected by the state as spiritual and cultural value. The tapestry is a masterpiece of our new history. It minimal cost is 1 million USD.


Visitors of the Bank of Development of the Republic of Belarus will be able to ascend at any level and watch the tapestry in details.


Free excursions to the Bank will start on Friday. The guides can speak English and serve foreign tourists.


The tapestry was included in the Guinness Book due to its size.
