Slavic Bazaar Festival opens for 28th time in Vitebsk

14 июля 2019

Slavic Bazaar preserves traditions, multiplies creative projects and discovers new talents. This festival is about friendship.
Of course, not only Vitebsk, but we all follow the news of the city on the Dvina. The forum brought together more than a hundred popular performers, bands.
Every July here everyone becomes closer to each other: the performers and the audience. There are more than five thousand accredited guests.
Alexander Lukashenko, despite the tight schedule, attends the Vitebsk festival. And in his welcoming speech to the guests and participants of the holiday, the President emphasized: this is a holiday of Slavic unity, which reminds: the people of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine are not strangers.
Belarus is a small musical homeland for the national artiste of Ukraine Taisiya Povaliy. This year, she is the holder of a special award “Through Art to Peace and Mutual Understanding”.
There are 13 festival venues in Vitebsk. But still the main location is the Summer Amphitheater.
"Slavic Bazaar" expands the limits of the holiday, erases the boundaries and continues to create the most important thing - friendship outside politics.
