Jubilee Slavic Bazaar to become history soon

In a day the anniversary Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk will become history. The closing ceremony of the International Forum of Art was held last night. However, the program includes two more concerts. Organizers of the festival summarize its results. The XXV Slavic Bazaar was the most large-scaled one.

For the first time 130 events took place within the festival's week. There was a 14-hour marathon of verses. Street performances and concerts in the squares turned all residents and visitors of Vitebsk into participants of the festival. The Slavic Bazaar has found friends and fans on all continents. 5.5 thousand performers from 45 countries took part in the festival in Vitebsk. This is an absolute record. The events of the Art Forum were covered by 500 journalists from 10 countries.

The most grandiose show program was traditionally held on the main venue of the forum - the Summer Amphitheatre. Solo concerts by Sergey Lazarev, Christina Orbakaite, Maxim Galkin gathered six thousand viewers.

One of the most significant events of the international forum was the opening of a new star on the area dedicated to ​​the winners of the President of Belarus Special Prize Through Art to Peace and Mutual Understanding. The high award was awarded to the State Concert Orchestra of Belarus conducted by Mikhail Finberg.

Representative of our country at the Pop Song Performers Contest Alex Gross was awarded the Grand Prix.

The jury awarded artist from Mexico Horky Romano with the award named after Vladimir Mulyavin. Special prize of the President of Belarus Slavic Hope was given to representative of the Czech Republic Michaela Gemrotova.

At the moment Alexander Rosenbaum's concert takes place on the stage of the Summer Amphitheater. Tomorrow there will be a rock concert by Diana Arbenina and group Night Snipers.
