By Olga Medved: Chief choirmaster of Belarus’ Bolshoi Theatre Nina Lomanovich is celebrating a double anniversary today – the 65-year-old People’s Artist has been serving in Belarus’ Bolshoi Theatre for 40 years. She has revived the Belarusian vocal school.
The Bolshoi Theatre’s vocal troupe has been performing in the world’s leading opera houses. Just recently, the troupe has returned fr om Estonia wh ere it has presented the Belarusian version of the opera Eugene Onegin at an international festival in Tallinn.
