The choice was not easy. The selection consisted of 12 strong finalists, more precisely eight soloists, two duets, a quartet and a vocalist.

Ivan Eismont, Chairman of Belteleradiocompany: "We moved to a new studio and for us it’s a new challenge. We wanted to make a more global show. I don’t know whether it turned out or not, you will never get this answer from me, let the audience say."

Gleb Shulman, general producer of the general production center of the Belteleradiocompany: "We are trying to create the best conditions for our performers. We comply with all international standards."

All selection processes are automated. Human influence is minimal on the vote counting system.

Using two servers, the ratings were converted to a 12 point system and appeared on the screens.

This time the gala show gathered Eurovision ambassadors from Israel, Bulgaria and Norway. The experts were right on the stage of selection.

VAL project got the highest number of points, and the hearts of the audience. The duo consists of vocalist Valeria Gribusova and sound producer Vladislav Pashkevich. Their song will be the second song in the Belarusian language in the history of our participation in Eurovision contests.
