Sting’s son – Joe Sumner – opened the show. The father-and-son duo also performed one song together.
Sting has performed on stage for over 40 years. During that time, he has won 17 Grammys, a Golden Globe, and has got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
For Sting, this is his second show in Minsk. 7 years ago, Sting performed in Minsk accompanied by the Presidential Orchestra. This time, the singer presented his new album 57th & 9th. The album title is no coincidence. It references the New York intersection Sting crossed every day on the way to his recording studio.
