A document on cooperation in the field of culture and art was signed today by Ministers of Belarus and Latvia.
The program involves establishment of direct contacts in such spheres as cinema and theater, music and visual arts. The agreement provides for exchanges of artists, music groups and experts. Now the countries will share the information in the field of protection and restoration of historical and cultural heritage.
As part of the two-day visit to the Belarusian capital, the Minister of Culture of Latvia visited the Literary Museum of Yanka Kupala, the National Academic Drama Theater named after M. Gorky. Today, the Latvian guests took a tour of the National Library of Belarus.
