By Nina Mozheiko (live): In less than an hour, the Junior Eurovision national selections finals will start, and the country will finally know the name of its representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The participants spent two days preparing for the finals non-stop, and now they are ready to perform on the stage of Belteleradiocompany’s 600 Metres Studio in front of a large TV audience.
A huge team of professionals worked at the National Selections, and they have prepared an incredibly colorful show. Tonight, a few hours before the broadcast on this scene, a dress rehearsal was conducted in the live broadcast mode – with no pauses and in conditions as close to reality as possible. There are 9 cameras on the perimeter of the studio. Therefore, the viewers will see everything. Also, a lot has been done to quickly change the stage scenery for the performance of each participant so that there are literally no pauses. There will be 30 second breaks, though, but such intermissions are acceptable, since some time is necessary to show the TV audience a short video that presents the next contestant.
Also, this year, lot of equipment was brought here, to 600 Metres Studio, and the result of the efforts of the crew who worked here is a modern stage tailored to the latest trends. In fact, everything is so technological in the Studio that even the symbol of the Junior Eurovision fits easily into the interior – the finalists will perform under the light of a chandelier made of LED screens which represents the sun.
The voting will be split 50/50 between the jury and the viewers. For the TV audience, it will start once all the participants have performed their songs and the start of the voting has been announced.
