By Natalia Bordilovskaya: The celebrations began with a formal meeting of the two Culture Ministers. Belarusian Culture Minister Boris Svetlov proposed switching to specific contracts and exchange tours of theater and ballet artists. His Kazakh counterpart Mukhtar Kul-Muhammed invited Belarusians to the official presentation of the newly built Kazakhstan Grand Theater and noted the contacts between Belarus and Kazakhstan in music and choreography were established long ago. The Kazakh delegation also visited the Nesvizh and Mir Castle Complexes.
The official part was followed by the concert at the Belarusian State musical theater featuring People's Artist Rose Rymbaeva, dance groups, opera singers, rock and instrumental bands of Kazakhstan.
The Days of Kazakhstan Culture in Minsk will last until October 9. A return visit of the Belarusian culture to Kazakhstan is scheduled for 2014.
