The ceremony was held at the exhibition center BelExpo. The start of the Euroweek was given by the general producer of the competition, chairman of Belteleradiocompany Ivan Eismont and show producer Jon Ola Sand.
The celebration gathered more than 3 hundred guests, including record 20 contestants with their delegations. It is the first meeting of the young performers. After a conversation with hosts Denis Dudinsky and Anna Kviloria, the participants defiled the red carpet. With the help of 3D mapping and 3D projections, each performer spoke about his dream and lit a star in the Eurovision sky.
A technical team of Belteleradiocompany was working at the site. Along the perimeter there were 9 cameras, which covered several locations at once.
The draw was one of the most exciting moments of the ceremony. Daniel Yastremsky was the first young singer to find out his number. He will perform at number 8. The Ukrainian contestant will open the show.
The first rehearsal on the main stage will be held in the near future.
