By Daria Tarasova: These days, the troupe of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus is on its seventh European tour. The tour of Belarusian performers in Austria and Germany has already become a good tradition for the theatre. The repertoire includes 2 performances – The Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, by Tchaikovsky.
The troupe has already made23 performances in Dortmund, Hamburg, Bremen, Stuttgart, and Vienna. Next up is Salzburg, followed by Munich, Fulda, and, of course, the heart of Germany – Berlin.
The tour of the Bolshoi started in December 2017. In some theaters, the demand is so big that the troupe gives two performances a day.
Also, it became known that the repertoire of the Bolshoi Theatre will be updated. Apart from the classics of Tchaikovsky, the next season’s tour in Austria and Germany will include the ballet Giselle.
