Belarus said farewell to People's Artist Nikolai Kirichenko. The farewell ceremony was held on the main stage of the Kupala Theater.
Nikolai Kirichenko was working here for about 50 seasons. He played about 90 roles and in September he planned to begin rehearsals of the new play. But the disease was stronger. The heart of the actor stopped beating on August 14. He was 72 years old. During the civil funeral, words of condolence from the Head of State were read out.
Nikolai Kirichenko is buried in the central alley of the Eastern cemetery of Minsk.
