By Alexandra Dragun: Singer and composer Igor Kvashevich is presenting his musical and educational project Belarus Tour. The artist is performing in orphanages, meeting with art school teachers and students, playing pop music concerts and holding charity workshops in 120 cities and towns.
Launched last September in Ivatsevichi, the project has covered most of the destinations, its 66th venue being Soligorsk. The workshop was attended by over 200 spectators and was opened with Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor.
Today, the virtuoso accordionist is scheduled to hold a workshop and perform a two-hour concert at Molodechno’s music college named after Oginski.
The tour’s final week will be dedicated to gala-concerts in every regional center of the country.
During the master classes, Igor Kvashevich is recruiting a team of young musicians to complete the tour of Belarus together.
