Foreign ministries of Belarus and Poland agree to develop partnership

The foreign ministries of Belarus and Poland have agreed to develop partnership. Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei and his Polish counterpart Witold Waszczykowski discussed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations at the meeting in Warsaw. In addition, diplomats touched upon the situation in the region. The very next day after the talks with his Belarusian counterpart, Foreign Minister of Poland said that the reform of the EU needed to be started with a review of the activities of the European Council and the European Commission.

Vladimir Makei and Witold Waszczykowski also discussed border traffic between the two countries. According to our Minister, the results of the year can be estimated as fruitful in almost all spheres. The trip of the Belarusian Foreign Minister is timed to the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration on Good-neighborliness, mutual recognition and cooperation between the two countries.
