The Central European Initiative summit in Minsk was an important international political event for Belarus. 2017 is the year of Belarus’ presidency in the organization.
The participants of the summit discussed the integration processes in Europe, the expansion of economic cooperation and the joint efforts in the fight against new threats and challenges.
The Central European Initiative is a unique platform where each participating country is both a donor and a recipient. The CEI leadership highly appreciated the efforts of Belarus in all areas. After all, the official Minsk declared from the very start its adherence to the idea of further integration.
