49 criminal cases following the results of inspections of the agro-industrial complex were announced by the head of the KGB. Heads of the Ministry of Energy and State Inspectorate for the Protection of Flora and Fauna lost their posts. The reason is as old as the world: corruption. The details of the illegal activities of these leaders were reported to Alexander Lukashenko by the chairman of the KGB. After the working meeting, decrees on dismissal were published.
Decisions have already been made to dismiss Sergei Novikov, the head of the republican level, and his deputy, Alexander Dunkovich.
As for the Ministry of Energy, here is the exact wording: "revealing the facts of corruption and failure to take measures to prevent such crimes in the subordinate organizations". The official formulation hides a complex scheme. Valery Vakulchik explained that with the support of the Minister of Energy, a family business was organized to supply construction materials at inflated prices. By the way, the inspectorate for the protection of flora and fauna is now a new leader. The duties of the chief are performed by Alexander Nazarenko, the former head of the military counterintelligence department of the KGB.
