Today is the last day of the harvesting campaign-2017. The Brest region reports of the end of harvesting with a total of more than 1.200 million tons. Agrarians of the Minsk region have approached the milestone of one million seven hundred thousand tons! Grodno and Mogilev residents have overcome the amount of one million tons and continue to replenish the reserves.
The Vitebsk region has harvested 700 thousand tons. More than 87% of the cultivated area has been harvested throughout the country.

The Mogilev region stepped over the cherished bar. Most of the grain has already been threshed, but the President allows for no slowdown and urges agrarians to help the northern regions.
The quality of harvesting grain directly depends on technology. The main task is not to lose any grain. The most powerful combine harvester KZS 1624-1 produced by Gomselmash successfully handles this task. The length of the harvester is 9 meters. The machine is equipped with a 530-horsepower engine. Judging by some characteristics, the combine surpasses its analogues. But the main thing is that the Belarusian machine is much cheaper.
On Sunday evening more than 90 percent of the cultivated areas have already been harvested in the Mogilev region. Today, despite the day off, the Head of State controlled the course of the harvesting campaign from the air. The route of President’s aircraft covered the areas of special concern: the Vitebsk region, as well as the north of Mogilev and the Minsk regions. The state of affairs in these areas was clearly visible from the helicopter. As we see, both on weekdays and on weekends, the harvest campaign-2017 remains under close attention of the Head of State.
