The preliminary PACE observation mission visiting Belarus is composed of parliamentarians from Germany, Italy, Sweden and Turkey, tasked with discussing all issues relating to the presidential campaign in Belarus. The delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has held talks with Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus’ National Assembly Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Myasnikovich and Belteleradiocompany authorities.
The presidential elections in Belarus are scheduled for 11 October.
