27th Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk brings together representatives from over 40 countries

By Ilona Krasutskaya: The 27th Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk officially kicked off this week. The participants of the annual festival are not only Slavic peoples. The festival has a lot of friends from all over the world. This year, the forum welcomed guests from such countries as Canada, Colombia, and Guinea.

From the stage of the Summer Amphitheater artists of different nationalities and cultures sing about our common values - beauty, happiness, and peace.

President Alexander Lukashenko is a regular guest at the festival, and following a long-standing tradition, he took part in the opening ceremony.

In his speech addressed to the guests and participants of the holiday, Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the hospitality and spiritual generosity of the Belarusian people. Every year, the Presdient presented a special presidential award Through Art to Peace and Understanding to People's Artist of Kazakhstan Roza Rymbayeva.
