The Snigir family from the village of Iasen, Osipovichi District, received a gift from the Belarusian President – a cow. This unusual present was a response to the request of Olga Snigir. She turned to the official website of the Belarusian President and told about how the family needs a cow. There are five young children in the family, so the demand for fresh milk is great.
The answer came quickly. The President became interested in the family not only because it is quite large. The head of the family – Sergey Snigir – works at the farm IasenAgro as a tractor driver. During harvesting campaigns, he always sets records. Also, the family has a farm of their own.
The cow gives 25 kilogram of milk per day. Annually, this is more than 7.5 thousand tons. In Osipovichi District, the average is 1.5 times lower.
As a sign of gratitude, the Snigir family gave the President a basket of apples and grapes that were grown in their own orchard.
