Prospects of nuclear energy discussed in Sochi

The formation of a common Eurasian energy market and the prospects for nuclear energy have been discussed in Sochi this week. Several thousand nuclear scientists gathered in the at the Black Sea at the Atomexpo forum. Dozens of countries actively discussed the nuclear powerand how to use it with the utmost benefit to the environment.

Over the past ten years, nuclear power plants prevented the release of 20 billion tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The most optimistic of the experts say that the "greenhouse effect" can be forgotten by 2030.

By the way, Finland and Turkey, brought new projects of stations, they are created according to the patterns worked out in Ostrovets.

During the five-year period, the international nuclear power network was strengthened by 55 nuclear power units. Another six dozen are being built all over the world.
