Moscow hosts Union State Supreme State Council meeting

Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin traditionally communicated one-on-one first and then proceeded with discussing topical issues at a meeting of the Supreme State Council with an emphasis on the economy against the backdrop of challenging conditions.

The parties endorsed a Minsk anti-crisis plan and agreed to restore the trade turnover figures of 2012, which exceeded 43 billion dollars. The meeting resulted in the signing of four joint documents, including the Union State budget and a roadmap until 2017.

Vladimir Putin presented Alexander Lukashenko with the Order of Alexander Nevsky for the friendship and cooperation with Russia.
