Athletes of Belarusian national rowing and canoeing teams honored

The outgoing year was a great year for the representatives of this sport, the rowers won made success at the World Cup, which was held in Szeged, Hungary, winning 14 medals, including  6 gold ones. The Belarusians also performed brilliantly at the II European Games. 

We are ready to pay for the result, and the solemn awarding of rowers is a vivid confirmation of that. The Head of State personally presented medals and letters of thanks to the heroes, while the main coach of the Belarusian rowing team Vladimir Shantarovich received the Order of the National Olympic Committee.

All the conditions have been created in Belarus to win medals of the highest dignity at the biggest starts, the President stressed it once again at the meeting, noting the stability with which rowers compete at the World Championships and Olympic Games. From all the tournaments in this sport  they always brings medals.

On December 4, the national rowing team will start the second stage of preparation for the Tokyo Olympics.
